Installation Guide
Follow these steps to install and configure eBay Integration for FreeScout.
Download the module
After purchase, you'll receive a download link for the module ZIP file. Save it to your computer.
Upload to FreeScout
Connect to your server via SFTP or SSH and navigate to your FreeScout installation directory. Upload the module ZIP file to the Modules folder.
cd /var/www/freescout/Modules
unzip ebay-connect.zipClear application cache
Clear the FreeScout cache to ensure the module is recognized by the system.
cd /var/www/freescout
php artisan cache:clear
php artisan config:clearActivate the module
Log in to your FreeScout admin panel, navigate to Manage → Modules, find "eBay Integration" in the list, and click Activate.
Connect your eBay account
Go to Settings → eBay Integration and click "Connect eBay Account". You'll be redirected to eBay to authorize the connection.
Configure your mailbox
Select which FreeScout mailbox should receive eBay messages. You can also configure notification preferences here.
Send a test message
Send a test message from eBay to verify the integration is working. It should appear in your FreeScout mailbox within a few minutes.
Installation complete!
Your eBay Integration module should now be active. eBay messages will start appearing in your FreeScout mailbox, and you can reply directly from the conversation view.
